Plantasia
Plantasia explored how living things can be archived both physically and digitally through a hands-on community workshop. Created for local residents and volunteers at Phoenix Farm through Hammersmith Community Gardens Association (HCGA), the workshop was split into two parallel activities. 1.Analogue workshop: Participants created prints using leaves, bark, branches, and other found plant materials, transforming natural traces into personal keepsakes. 2. Digital workshop: Participants learned how to 3D scan their favourite plants and turn them into AR filters, preserving them as virtual objects to create a small digital version of their garden. The workshop brought together analogue making, digital technologies, and community participation to explore different ways of preserving and experiencing plant life.
