Piggy Patrol

Piggy Patrol is an augmented reality (AR) game designed for Snap Specs that places players in the role of a heroic pig tasked with protecting nature. Through the Specs, a augmented natural environment emerges around the player, blending digital elements with the physical world. Players interact with the game using an AR slingshot, aiming at environmental threats that appear within the space around them. By combining gesture-based interaction, spatial computing, and playful gameplay, the project encourages players to actively engage with themes of environmental stewardship and conservation. The experience explores how augmented reality can transform familiar surroundings into interactive ecosystems, allowing players to step into the role of a guardian of the natural world. Piggy Patrol combines action, exploration, and environmental storytelling while demonstrating the creative possibilities of AR gaming on Specs. By placing players in the role of a protector, the project aims to promote environmental awareness and encourage more positive attitudes towards nature and conservation.
