CERCA (Creative Entrepreneurs of Royal College of Art)
Creative Entrepreneurs of RCA (CERCA) is a student-led entrepreneurial network founded to connect artists, designers, technologists, and innovators across the Royal College of Art and beyond. The initiative was established to bridge creative practice and entrepreneurship, providing students with opportunities to develop the skills, networks, and confidence required to transform creative ideas into sustainable ventures. Founded and developed by Emma Rose Harvey, CERCA has grown into a cross-disciplinary platform connecting RCA students and alumni with creative industries, entrepreneurs, institutions, and external partners. The programme encompasses talks, workshops, networking events, collaborative projects, showcases, and practical sessions covering areas including branding, marketing, pitching, funding, portfolio development, and professional practice. CERCA has established collaborations and partnerships with organisations including the Royal College of Art Shop, MangaJo Drinks, InnovationRCA, and Serpentine Galleries, while developing further relationships with universities, galleries, museums, studios, and cultural organisations across London. The society's broader ambition is to create an enduring interdisciplinary network that extends beyond the RCA's institutional boundaries, connecting current students, alumni, creative practitioners, and entrepreneurial communities. Currently there are approximately 200 CERCA members.
